This Super Sport Impala is one of the best buys we have in the building in my opionion."She is so fine, my 409" is how the old song goes. Fine is just what this Super Sport Impala is. The 409 is a legendary power plant. The one in this car was completely rebuilt and runs great. It features a 425 horsepower dual quad set up with Crane roller rockers, Offenhauser finned valve covers, electronic ignition, braided hoses, chrome dress up kit, and dual exhaust. The engine is detailed to show quality and looks as good as it runs. A big bore aluminum radiator keeps it cool. A T-10 4-speed transmission gets the power back to the Pile Brothers rebuilt 3.55 ratio rear end and 4 wheel power disc brakes bring the 15 inch Cragars to a halt. The white bucket seat interior is beautiful and accented with red components. A full console, factory, tachometer, Hurst shifter, am radio, and floor mats are included. The trunk is nice too. The chassis is clean and shows well with aluminum turbo muffler exhaust and tasteful turn downs just forward of the rear bumper. This car was built in California. It spent most of life in Nevada and Arizona therefor all of the original body panels have not seen rust. The solid body has an older lacquer paint job that is still nice. The bright red paint is complimented with good trim, glass, and chrome. This car is ready to show, drive, and enjoy. The vintage A/C will keep you cool on those hot cruises.
