Vehicle Detail
1957 CHEVY 2 DOOR 210 SEDAN for parts or restoration. I have too many projects and not enough room to store them! I found this car in a field where it had been under pine trees for about 30 years. I bought it with the intentions of restoring it, but it has sat for several years and the only thing I have been able to do is clean it up to put it in the garage. Now I have purchased another car for my son so one my many projects has to go, and this one needs the most amount of work. The roof to the belt line and the frame are solid, as seen in the pictures. The doors shut well. The rear window channel is in good shape and not rusted through. There are many outer parts that are in repairable condition, however the floor is not--it is rusted through. It has front & rear seats but I don't know if you would be able to reuse them (the pine needles did a number on them since the windows were broke out of it). The white rim on the drivers side rear does not come with the car, it is a spare I put on it to move it, but I do have one that I will be putting on when it is sold. I was not able to get the trunk open, the outer skin is the only good part of it. The rest of it is rusted away. All parts seen in the picture come with the car so it is missing the left front inner & outer fender. Front & rear window trim, rear bumper (1 complete and an extra set of the ends), 2 front bumpers (one set of braces has been cut on one of them but if you put them together you can make one really nice bumper). Car rolls and steers, engine is locked up so it does not run. Car has no title but I will make a bill of sale. Car is sold as is. I would like a $500 payment via Paypal within 24 hours with $250.00 nonrefundable, and the remainder to be paid by Paypal or cashiers check or cash within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for pick up. I would like the car picked up within two weeks of the end of auction, however if you are not able to pick it up by then please contact me and I can work with you.
