To see a short video on how this vehicle runs and sounds go to the following movie and enjoy: We are offering this nice 2 OWNER-2002 DODGE L.A. WEST HIGH TOP CONVERSION VAN, with good miles. This van has a squeaky clean AutoCheck report and a very high score, out of a range of 57-73 for comparable vehicles this van scores an incredible 76!! This van is a great example of a well cared for and well maintained conversion van. Usually vans this old and with this mileage are beat to death, by kids, pets and the like, but this one must have spent it's life with adults because it is so clean and there was no cookie crumbs or candy stuck in the ashtrays and compartments. This package is very nice and comes with a long list of options including power windows, door locks, mirrors, power drivers seat, front and rear A/C that blows cold, 2 AM-FM stereos with CD Players, one for the front and one for the back, tilt wheel, cruise control, comfy quad seats, power fold down rear bed, big TV with a VCR and DVD player ( I am even throwing in a DVD of Pirates of the Caribbean), mood lighting, and much more. I did not check all the electronics to see if they work, but judging by the condition of the van they probably do. The 5.2 Litre V-8 starts right up and runs quietly. It is mated to a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission. There is a whine somewhere in the drivetrain, it comes and goes. I had my mechanic look at it and he thinks it might just be a tight U-joint and he said it was no big deal. It goes down the road straight and the brakes work fine. It did pull to the right a slight bit when I slammed on the brakes and let go of the wheel, but with your hands on the wheel you would never even notice, but I try to disclose everything I know. The attractive green paint is very clean and shiny without any dings, scratches or nicks. The only flaws I could find were some cracks in the fiberglass running boards (see the pictures) and for some strange reason some of the paint near the side door windows is coming off, and there is a dent in the chrome front bumper. But even with those minor flaws this van looks AWESOME! The tan cloth seats are very nice and clean without any signs of wear and tear, and the tan carpeting is also clean and nice and it has many floor mats to cover it. The matching Goodyear tires are in great shape and should provide many miles of use, and they are mounted on very nice factory chrome wheels. It even has a NJ state inspection sticker valid through February of 2013!! If you know your conversion vans, then you know LA West is one of the few premium brands. I used to sell these new and I know a high top conversion van with this package retailed in 2002 for around $20K-$25K just for the conversion, let alone the cost of the chassis. So I would guesstimate that this van retailed for somewhere between $40K and $50K new!! With my wholesale pricing and ULTRA low reserve you may be able to get this van for LESS then HALF the Kelly Blue Book Value of over $9300.00, so don't miss out on a premium family fun vehicle for very little money! All my vehicles are for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Many of the vehicles are also driven so they may have a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but not too many, certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicles. I have tried to be as honest and descriptive as possible but I'm not perfect. Please remember you are buying a wholesale vehicle and paying a wholesale price, not retail, so keep that in mind when looking at this vehicle, it is not a NEW car. Please read my feedback. We are offering this nice 2 OWNER-2002 DODGE L.A. WEST HIGH TOP CONVERSION VAN, with good miles. This van has a squeaky clean AutoCheck report and a very high score, out of a range of 57-73 for comparable vehicles this van scores an incredible 76!! This van is a great example of a well cared for and well maintained conversion van. Usually vans this old and with this mileage are beat to death, by kids, pets and the like, but this one must have spent it's life with adults because it is so clean and there was no cookie crumbs or candy stuck in the ashtrays and compartments. This package is very nice and comes with a long list of options including power windows, door locks, mirrors, power drivers seat, front and rear A/C that blows cold, 2 AM-FM stereos with CD Players, one for the front and one for the back, tilt wheel, cruise control, comfy quad seats, power fold down rear bed, big TV with a VCR and DVD player ( I am even throwing in a DVD of Pirates of the Caribbean), mood lighting, and much more. I did not check all the electronics to see if they work, but judging by the condition of the van they probably do. The 5.2 Litre V-8 starts right up and runs quietly. It is mated to a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission. There is a whine somewhere in the drivetrain, it comes and goes. I had my mechanic look at it and he thinks it might just be a tight U-joint and he said it was no big deal. It goes down the road straight and the brakes work fine. It did pull to the right a slight bit when I slammed on the brakes and let go of the wheel, but with your hands on the wheel you would never even notice, but I try to disclose everything I know. The attractive green paint is very clean and shiny without any dings, scratches or nicks. The only flaws I could find were some cracks in the fiberglass running boards (see the pictures) and for some strange reason some of the paint near the side door windows is coming off, and there is a dent in the chrome front bumper. But even with those minor flaws this van looks AWESOME! The tan cloth seats are very nice and clean without any signs of wear and tear, and the tan carpeting is also clean and nice and it has many floor mats to cover it. The matching Goodyear tires are in great shape and should provide many miles of use, and they are mounted on very nice factory chrome wheels. It even has a NJ state inspection sticker valid through February of 2013!! If you know your conversion vans, then you know LA West is one of the few premium brands. I used to sell these new and I know a high top conversion van with this package retailed in 2002 for around $20K-$25K just for the conversion, let alone the cost of the chassis. So I would guesstimate that this van retailed for somewhere between $40K and $50K new!! With my wholesale pricing and ULTRA low reserve you may be able to get this van for LESS then HALF the Kelly Blue Book Value of over $9300.00, so don't miss out on a premium family fun vehicle for very little money!
