2001 740i in great condition. I hand picked this car in May, 2009 from and older gentleman who purchased it new in Richmond, VA. He kept it 7 years and put 65,000 miles on it. It has always been garaged by both owners and "overly maintained". I have put 57,000 easy highway miles on it in the past 29 months. I am a 20 year member of the BMW Car Club and this is my 4th E-38, 740i. No issues! Car has been properly maintained by BMW of Richmond by the first owner and by Mann Motorsports in Greensboro, NC since I have owned it. The following has been done since I've had it and most of these are common issues on these cars around 80-100,000 miles: new radiator, expansion tank, power steering hoses, oil separator, belts, water pump, plugs. Car is black with tan leather, all standard options plus heated seats, glass moonroof. Tires have 5,000 miles on them and was just serviced last week. It has 2 small dings but other than that is is great shape for a 10 year old car. I drive it to Atlanta monthly and it is a great highway car and get 23-24 mpg with a 282 hp V-8! Would not be selling other than after 9 years in the same body style car it's time to move on. Lastly, I'm much better at maintaining cars that writing ebay ads so take that in to consideration. Also if you buy it and don't like what you see you are not obligated. I will miss the car and not in a hurry to sell it although I do have it fairly priced and hope to sell!
