1949 desoto 4 door with a manual 3 speed transmission. car has a complete rebuild motor. bored .030 over. new pistons, rings, cam bearings, oil pump, new rod and main bearings, reconditioned rods, new valves intake and exhaust, new valve springs. all new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake hoses. new clutch. new shocks front and rear. drive it anywhere. about 300 miles on rebuild motor. i just had the front and rear seats recovered and a new rug installed. rest of interior is orignal. car was painted about 11 years ago but could use a touch up has some scratches and nicks not perfect. new tires installed a year and a half ago have less than 1000 miles on them. the car has some rust on inner rocker panels. the floors are pretty solid need only a small patch trunk floor pretty solid as well. frame is solid. all steering linkage is tight car drives straight. not a show car but a good daily driver that can be turned into a show car with little work. all glass is good. needs vent window frames which i have a good set with new window seals that are included with car. all gauges work including gas gauge car has a radio delete plate but i have a orignal radio that i will include with sale. car has no turn signals as they where an option back in 1949. if interested i have a orignal dealer installed package that includes all need items to install turn signals orignal mopar that i can sell you for a small fee. any ?'s you can call me at 1347 245 7569 ask for mike. car is located in goshen new york. buyer can pick up or have it shipped i will assist in any way possible.
