Original one family VW dealer owned VW 1971 Kombi Bus~Car has been in same family it's whole life, always garaged, runs excellent! The body is good, a few dings and slight little dents from the years, one little spot of rust that was filled under the front window rubber. Bus has rebuilt engine with 17K miles on it, runs, drives, shifts very nice with no strange noises. Will make a fine example of an unrestored VW! The factory paint still has a nice gloss and the car has rare factory chromed bumpers and step rail, also included are factory installed mud flaps. The interior is old but original, the headliner and floormats are excellent, the front door panels have speaker holes. Needs new shocks, tires, and most likely a tuneup. New battery installed, car starts right up! Please arrange all shipping from my Lake Tahoe, Ca location (Homewood, Ca 96141). Because the car has been sitting and the tires are questionable I would suggest having the car shipped to your location, it would only take a few days to have her back in traveling shape again.
