Up for sale is a great vintage truck! GMC's 1969 2500 Custom Camper 3/4 ton truck with V6 305 Big Block and 4 on the floor transmission! This is a REAL TRUCK! Not one of those little 1/2 ton toys. Brakes have been completely gone through in the last year, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums turned, etc. Wheels are 8 lug aluminum 16" with Dayton white letter tires. SERIOUS WHEELS! Tranny has granny gear and is mounted 4 speed, on the floor. Full size truck tool box is included with sale. Starts easy, runs, drives and stops great. V6 305 Big Block Engine does have what sounds like a spun bearing though...so it will need work. Truck will drive for transport though. (I've seen these engines, running, for less than $300 on ebay and CL...I just don't have the space and time to R&R) Could use a new battery. Door panels are leather and in great condition. Seat will need recovered. Windshield has crack, other glass is good. 8 foot bed has a HEAVY rubber liner over a lightly rusted bed. Truck has 3 gas tanks! The one behind the seats is in use, the 2 underside ones are not. Rear bumper mounted ball hitch. Great original condition truck in need of a little TLC! Odometer reads roughly 42,000 miles, assume it means 140,000? Drivers' side rocker and floor pan have rust and need replaced. Check prices....these replacement panels for this truck are ridiculously CHEAP! (Rockauto) There is some rust underneath, this is an Ohio truck..... Ask questions....no zero feedback bidders.
