Sold new February 1970 at Sport Chevrolet in Sliver Springs, MD. A dealership still in business today and was well known back in the day for selling a lot of high horse power cars a long with two ZL1’S. The original owner only put 53,807k miles on the car from 1970 to 1984 and 1984 was the last time the car was ever driven on the street. 1984 county & VA, state inspection still visible on windshield along with the original owners license plates dating 1985 are still on the car. The original owner sold the car in 1999. The Camaro change hands two more times from 1999 to 2006 when I purchased the car. After my purchase my goal was to restore the car. With the car being in a un-restored state, I had Jerry MacNeish come do a certification & appraisal. I also started researching owner history & traced the car back to the original owner & received a copy of the original title & one picture of the car from 1974/75 & all history of the car for 29 years while in his ownership.
