Vehicle Detail

1979 Honda CM400T All Original BarnfindRARE Vintage MotorcycleLOW MILESLOW RESERVEBidding Starts At .99 CENTS! Up for sale is a beautiful rare 1979 Honda CM400T with just under 6,911 actual miles. Out of a San Francisco estate a very solid original CM 400 twin. Other than the authentic condition that this bike is in, this model CM400 was only imported for 3 years. Making this bike an instant classic collectable. The CM400 was the precursor to the ever popular Honda Rebel. Not only is the CM400 a scarce motorbike but this bike is a CM400T meaning it is the touring model which makes it that much more hard to find. What makes the touring model a special find is the distinctive look from the Candy Presto Red Paint to the sporty mag wheels, but also a more finished off chrome setting from the lights to the mirrors as well as a stock tachometer to go along with the speedometer. This CM is an original low mile example that is perfect for putting around town but still able to cruise on the freeway. Because it is splendid on gas it is a wonderful commuter and much safer than a moped or a bicycle. With an opening bid of .99 cents this classic Honda twin will give you a tremendous value for your dollar. Cosmetically this bike is in exceptional original condition. From the Candy Presto Red paint to the beautifully finished chrome this bike has the charm to take you back to 1979. The tank is in good condition with no large scratches or dents. Still has the original safety sticker by the gas cap. The original 70's pinstriping are holding up and have no fading or missing spots. The side covers are in excellent condition with absolutely no cracks or scratches the emblems are in like new condtion. For the most part the chrome is in good condition there are spots on the exhaust where there is some weather wear. There are NO rusted through holes on the exhaust system. The seat looks brand new but is over 30 years old. The bike still has every light and mirror. Appears to have never been dropped and has been well taken care of with some age patina. Mechanically this Honda runs like 1979 twin should run. A very solid running bike. No pings or abnormal engine noise. It shifts well in every gear with no thumping or grinding. This bike has never been restored or gone through mechanically, considering it runs quite well. The breaks are good and it stops with no hesitation. The front tire is in good condition but the back should be replaced before excessive riding, but is still usable. The suspension is smooth and is really a treat to ride. This All Original Blue plated Honda is a perfect addition to a vintage Honda collector who is looking for that rare model. With 6,900 miles this bike is a time warp from 1979. With a tune up new rear tire you will be the coolest cat in town riding on this RARE Original Classic. Perfect bike for that beginner rider to an avid collector. It is sure to go up in value and is better than money in the bank. Whats a better way than to invest in a classic Honda Motorbike. Do Not Miss Out on this opportunity to own this bike at a VERY LOW reserve. Additional Information, Please Read Before Bidding Please only bid if you intend to buy.
