Vehicle Detail
1964 PONTIAC CATALINA Four Door Hardtop 43,000 ORIGINAL MILES w/ Paperwork The Pontiac You've Been Looking For! 389ci engine 2-Barrel carburetor 3 speed transmission Power steering, Power Brakes I am the 2nd owner of this car. This car was ordered New in Dover, Ohio in 1964. When I purchased it 4 years ago it had 38,000 original miles on it. She also had all th original paperwork with the car from when she bought it. The owners manual, The protection plan, the protecto plate, the original window sticker, even the ordering form they fillled out with the options on it is included. WOW! I drive this car everywhere. As long as there is no salt on the road, im driving it. It is a very reliable running car. You can fly in and drive home. The Car Lots of new with the old. the car had already been repainted when I bought it. It is a good 10 ft paint job. The body is fairly straight. I was told there was some patches put inbetween the rear doors and wheel wells in the dogleg area. There are some door dinges but no major damages and NO accidents. The bumper have good drivers chrome, but they are flaking in areas and the rear bumper has a little bend in it where the little old lady backed into something. The rest of the chrome is also driver quality. Original color is white with the turquoise interior. The interior is in fabulous condition. It is a time capsule. The headliner is nice and tight, the seats are in great condition. It has one of the best dashboards Ive seen in a Pontiac. The chrome is nice an shiney ad eveything works. All factory gauges, and lights and horns. Even the original Am radio still comes in crystal clear. Teh steering wheel is in very good condition. All the glass is also very good. I replaced the rear window seal because it was leaking. The package tray is alittle warped because it got wet. Ames Pontiac sells them for 20.00. When I bought the car, the engine compartment looked like it was 40 some years old, dirty and ratty. So I pulled the 389 out and restored the engine compartment to look 100% like it did the day it left detroit. The motor got a fresh coat of that pontiac blue, and I replaced alot of parts in the process. Heres the new: Radiator, belts, hoses, plugs, wires, points, cap, rotor, condensor, rebuilt carb, master cylinder, 4 wheel cylinders, brake lines, brake hoses, shocks, muffler, 4 new tires. Im sure Im forgeting something, but Ive rebuilt or replaced everything on the car that it needs to be a reliable daily driver. In the trunk you will find the original spare with complete jack and handle. On the lid is Pontiacs inovative reel light. The original trunk mat is in great shape. I bought some of that spackle paint and re sprayed the truck floor. It looks great, even has the factory cardboard sides still in it. If its so nice, why are you selling? Well, I have 3 other old pontiacs and My wife and I just had a new baby, so something has to go. If I had the means of having it all, I wouldnt sell it. Its a really nice original car and these are becoming harder to find where no one has messed with them. A $1000 deposit is required by cashiers check within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment under the same methods is required within 7 days of auction end unless otherwise discussed. I will do what I can to help with the transport of the car. I live 10 minutes from Canton/akron airport (CAK) If you want to fly in and drive home. If you have any questions, feel free to call me on my cell. Happy to anwser any/all questions.
