Up for sale is a 1998 A4 quattro. Many good things about this car such as timing belt, s belt, water pump and roller have been replaced at 182k and the car has 192k on it now. This car has been in the family for a long time and always ran great. Had an oil and filter change every 3 to 4k. Tires are still good, have around 50% tread left. Brakes are rusty from sitting for almost a year, but were fine before taken off the rd. The body has some dents and scratches here and there (no sunroof). The engine starts fine but runs rough. Over heated and sounds like it may have jumped time. Not sure what the exact problem is but the engine does make quite a bit of racket, but still runs and moves. Will need to be trailered! Not a speck of rust car either, the car was from NJ! Don't know enough to tear down the engine or have room to diagnose the problem plus my sister (who owned the car) has bought another vehicle.
