This 1916 Model T Center Door is as close to original as it can get. The rare body style is sure to get looks at any car show. Special features: --Rare, original 1916 built in late '15 Engine # 943047 which indicates an Oct., 26 1915 build. This is just after the aluminum bodied centerdoors. -- body number on rear seat ledge is 15828 which is possibly August 28th 1915 build date for the body. --Frame off restoration --Brand new rebuilt round Felloe wheels with brand new gray smoothie tires with no wear (see photo close-up of tire) --New rebuilt engine transmission --Less than two miles put on car and engine since restoration --Rebuilt rear end --Upholstery door panels have been removed along with headliner. Have all panels for patterns --Driver's seat and rear seat upholstery still in good shape, although not original fabric --Passenger seat has original upholstery --New paint on body, with the chassis and frame powder coated --Lined rear brakes --Radiator recored with flat tubes --New rebuilt brass topped coils by Fun Projects. Coil box has Fun Projects resin replacement wood. --New gas tank --Period-correct rear side lamp --Correct figure 8 spring shackles with"Man hole covers" oilers --someone cut a hole on the rear passenger side floor board for a battery. --Correct coilbox with one-piece lid. --Top is solid wood which needs dressed for waterproofing. --the lined rear brakes need adjusted so they do not drag on the drum. A typical issue with the new lined brakes. **Indiana 1916 plate not included **The passenger side door needs adjusted as it worked well when we had the body off the frame.
