You are bidding on a Dark Gray Metallic BMW K1200GT, with extras (check out the list below). It is mechanically A-1. It starts and runs like a dream. Visually, it has some blemishes (read Appearance Section below and check out the pics). The bike has never been dropped or in any accident!!! The BMW K1200GT is water-cooled, with an in-line four-cylinder engine that makes 152 bhp!!!! The chassis uses the BMW Motorrad Duolever front wheel suspension and the BMW Motorrad EVO Paralever, which is a floating and articulated rear mount that leverages the shaft drive as the suspension. This bike comes with the unique ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) as an optional extra, which allows you to adjust the chassis at the push of a button to different driving modes and loads. The EVO brake system and standard BMW Motorrad Integral ABS give this machine some real stopping power while allowing you to maintain control. Put all the bags on, switch on the cruise, and hit the open highway. GVWR Appearance The previous owner took the bike down country highways, and obviously followed trucks a bit too closely - as there is some pitting low on the fairing cowl. If you look closely in the pics, you can see where he covered them in touch up paint. The right saddle bag was dropped on pavement, and is scuffed on one side. You can see this in the pics, as well as the touch up paint there. This did not deter me from buying the bike, as I got a great deal and had a lot of great times on it. However, because of these visual blemishes, I am selling the bike at blue book - even with all the extras. Note: None of the metal (rims, engine, handlebars, etc are scratched) Reason for Selling I am moving soon, and have too many vehicles. I am selling one of my cars, the RV, and the BMW so that I don't have to ship them and try to find a place to store them while I look for a permanent residence (which may be winter time, and too late to ride). I got a great deal on this bike a few years ago - now it's your turn. It runs like a scalded dog, and has been well maintained (other than the blemished mentioned). Shipping I don't ship vehicles I list on eBay, too much hassle. I will drop it at a shipping station within 25 miles, deliver it up to 150 miles (for $200 extra), or come pick you up at the airport so you can ride it home (I bought it in Florida, and rode it back to Ohio - what an awesome trip!). I highly recommend the ride home option, the seat is comfy and heated, the weather is great, and the cruise control and electronic windshield make the ride smooth and relaxing (you will get spoiled riding this thing). Terms of sale I require a $500 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end to hold the bike - and I will hold it for 2 weeks so you can secure transportation or shipping. I will require the balance via wire transfer or cashier's check.
