Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a true GTO JUDGE. This car is an original Palladium Silver Judge with black interior that will need some work done to take it back to its original beauty. The car is currently painted black with orange stripes. My thoughts are that some one in the mid to late seventies had the car repainted and put a vinyl top on it. It looks like it has been sitting for some time and that it is completely original. I purchased the car about 3 years ago and being a high school teacher who just got married have come to the realization that I will never have the knowledge or $$ to finish this car the way it should be finished. I am hoping to sell this so I can buy some thing I can drive and enjoy. I will be 100% honest to the best of my ability to describe the car. I don't claim to be an expert on GTO's or body work. If I was I would restore it my self and not have to sell it. BODY- ( I had a local body man look at the car last week and I will repeat what he told me) I have removed the front fenders, bumper, all carpet, interior components and hood so that the body guy would have a better idea what he was looking at. The front fenders are nice. Will need little to no work. Both doors are good and will need nothing. Rear quarters have some rust. The passenger quarter might need to be replaced, the driver quarter could get away with a quarter skin. The good news is that the car will come with 2 full GM/NOS quarter panels with the gm stickers still on them. Drivers floor board has a little rust spot where the drivers feet would be and where the drivers seat bolts to the floor. Passenger floor has no issues. Floors appear to be very solid. Floor braces appear to be solid. The trunk looks like it might need the drivers section repaired but over all nice. Frame is good. Rear bumper is rusted but car will come with a separate bumper that will need to be re chromed. Endura bumper is solid but will need to be refinished. Rockers are good. Hood is off of a 1969 RA IV that some one started to sand blast and stopped. Not sure what the deal is?? INTERIOR- All the interior has been removed from the car (except the dash because I couldn't figure out how to get it out) Every thing is there. I have new legendary front and rear seat covers and door panels. Also have new foam for front and rear seats. The car will come with more than enough original comfort weave material to finish front and rear seats (black). The dash will need to be repaired. Judge glove box emblem is intact and in nice shape. PHS states console but the car showed up at my house with out one? Have separate wood grain insert thing that is uncut and in really nice shape. DRIVE TRAIN- Has the original RA III engine (WS) with vin stamped on block. Original 4 speed transmission and rear end. Every thing on the engine is original minus the carburetor and exhaust manifolds. Currently has headers. The carb. is off another 1970 gto. I purchased a 7040273 carb from Arizona a while back but am not sure if it is original or a restamp (see pics) All original Ram Air equipment is with the car. Power steering and breaks..EXTRA PARTS/THINGS THAT WOULD COME WITH CAR--2 full NOS Quarter Panels-NOS front and rear valance-NOS front and rear coil springs-NOS weather stripping-NOS wiring harness-NOS Tail Pipe extensions (splitters) -Extra Bumper that needs to be re chromes-Extra rear deck lid (trunk lid) not perfect-Front/Rear legendary seat covers/door panels-Enough original comfort weave material to finish seats* I'm sure I am forgetting some other little things **This is a chance for some one with some skill and knowledge to bring back a beautiful numbers matching Judge. ** I will not give this car away. Serious callers only please. ** less than a year ago I was offered $20,000 for the car and less than a month ago was offered $15,000. I purchased the car right before the market fell off for $27,000 and have purchased some parts since than. I realize the market has changed a lot in the past year but please do not waste my time. THE RESERVE PRICE IS $18,000Can email me at broncos0822@yahoo.com or call at 402-450-7782 Thanks for looking and good luck Kyle Please leave a message if I do not answer. I will get back to you ASAP
