texasvicsdeals store 1994 Chevy C3500 1 Ton Dually 2 Wheel Drive 4 Speed Manual Transmission ( plus Granny Low and Reverse = 6 gears/ stick shift positions ) 454 V8 Gasoline Engine Tires 6 (General Grabber TR - LT235/ 85R 16 Load Range E) less than 3,000 miles on these tires. Oil Cooler (mounted to front of radiator behind grille). Engine runs on Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-40 and has always used synthetic. New Heavy Duty Clutch/ Clutch Master & Slave Cylinder installed 2 months ago. New AC compressor installed 6 months ago. AC is really cold and quick to chill the cabin. Flowmaster muffler installed about 8 months ago. Makes it sound really good and gives it more torque. I am selling this truck because I am buying another vehicle that will fit my growing family. Bought this truck on Ebay in June of 2010. It has been a great vehicle. Turns heads, performs great, gets compliments all the time. Flew to Wisconsin and drove this back to Texas. The trucks history is as follows. It spent the spring, summer, and early fall in Wisconsin and the surrounding states. It then would pull a Gooseneck camper trailer to Arizona and New Mexico so the owners could sit the cold and snow out in a warm climate. When the freezing was over, back they went. I bought it, drove it back and did a few modifications to make it my own. I put Stainless Steel covers on the steel wheels. Tinted the windows. Upgraded the grille and headlamps to a newer model Silverado style. Changed the seat to a same year (1994) Silverado seat. I wanted the center armrest because the original seat does not have one. Installed the Diamond plate toolbox. Put in the rubber bed mat. ( I am also including the original bench seat and the grille that I changed out with this truck purchase) More information about the truck: It has the hidden flip gooseneck hitch in the center of the bed. You can tell there was also a 5th wheel installed at some point because of the holes that were drilled in the bed where the rails would mount. I have never used it. I only pulled a camper and trailers via the rear hitch. You will notice in the pictures that inside the bed and below the bumper has the wiring for all trailer/ camper types. At some point the previous owner used a bed mounted cab-over camper on the truck as well. I know this because he told me so. I have pulled a 20ft camper to the Texas coast and back several times with this and have had no issues. The truck can get up to 13 mpg on highway use. City driving only will get you around 10-11 mpg. Engine cranks up easy, does NOT burn any oil, great compression and torque. Runs smooth and sounds great. When I had the clutch replaced I also had the transmission serviced and resealed. Standard transmissions in these old Chevy's are bullet proof. The only issue, if you can call it that, with the engine is there is a front stud on the drivers side of the engine that has busted and you can hear a tiny hiss from the exhaust. It goes away when the engine warms up so I have not fixed it. All the electronics work. Radio, cassette player, lights, etc. All the knobs, locks, and levers work. Windows roll up and down with ease. The shift boot was cracked and I have not replaced it. The last time I checked with GM the price was like $35, but my handy black duct tape was free so I just have not made it to the Chevy house to replace it. According to the previous owner the passenger door was replaced about 7 years ago. It was a parking lot incident where a tall 4x4 backed in the door. They replaced the door and repainted the entire truck at that time. Any Chevy lover knows the bad paint jobs the early 90's model GM vehicles had so they took advantage of the parking lot incident and the truck got a fresh, quality paint job. There are normal nicks, dings, and scuffs that accompany any vehicle used in a trailering/ camping/ RV scenarios. No major dents or holes in the body. The last picture shows the under carriage. It does have surface rust from the times it spent up North when there was still some snow/ ice on the roads with the salt on the road and the previous owners used it during those periods. There is NO rust on the body parts at all. No holes in the cab, or bed, nor rust where they mount to the frame. It also makes no squeaks or noises while you drive down the road. I had the rear end inspected at a specialist here in Texas when I got it back from Wisconsin, when I bought it, and all checked out well. The dark area on the right side was probably from a leaking front seal that was replaced in the past. It is not leaking anymore and has not since I have been using it. I have pulled trailers loaded down with tractors, a RV camper, and a trailer carrying a extended cab Z71 with a zero turn mower in its bed from San Antonio. No need to let the rust scare you from buying this truck. It is hard to find these 90's model Chevy's this clean anymore. I would not be afraid to drive this truck across the USA. For Texas buyers: I will have the annual inspection done, at my expense, before the final transaction is done. (inspection expires in September) For all other states, I do not have a lead for shipping but you can find lots of companies on the internet that provide reasonable freight options. I will also meet out of state buyers at DFW airport for delivery if you fly in. Thanks for reading and looking at my truck. Please feel to ask any questions. I have tried to be as detailed as possible.
