Sorry for the necessary relisting. This well maintained fuel injected Super Blackbird has been ridden by a mature conservative rider. The new tires currently on the motorcycle have a little over 300 miles on them and a lot of the "tits" are still on the tread. It has been carefully maintained using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 4T motorcycle oil every 3500 miles and currently has a fresh K&N oil filter as well. The brake pads have well over 50% of life left and fresh brake fluid. It had new chain and sprockets 2,000 miles ago, spark plugs at the same time, and a K&N air filter. The seat is like new. It is fitted with a new Zero gravity windscreen (someone used a chemical to clean some sticker residue off of the original & the chemical "ate" the plastic.) This motorcycle was engineered by Honda to compete with the venerable Kawasaki ZX1100 Ninja. The first model was tested in 1997 at 178.5 MPH top speed(this one has never been close to that) You could feel comfortable riding this CBR1100XX across the country & back. It is mechanically perfect. It has never been crashed. It was slowly dropped in a driveway several years ago & there are light scratches on the lower right fairing(I can send you high res jpg of that area if you ask) It does have a few chips, scratches, and some lightly weathered hardware as you would expect for a motorcycle that is 11 years old with just under 37,000 miles. Overall, still a stunning machine that embodies Honda's ability to engineer exquisite machinery. I am selling this for a friend who is the SECOND owner and have the clear Florida title in hand.
