Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1972 Pontiac Lemans Convertible. 2 Owners! A.C. P.W *80,550 Factory Miles* 350 Engine runs like a very smooth, and is 100% stock. Always maintained and has no oil leaks at all. This car can be driven cross country with no problems what so ever. It really drives beautifully down to the alignment. ! A.C. used to blow cold. All there but will need a charge. Transmission shifts great in all gears. Have receipt rebuilt 9-17-96 with only 72,822 miles. Cost then $434.00 No warranty left. Brakes are like new all around, stops perfect. I have all Factory manuals, original invoice which shows a cost of $4527,50 new. Also have a thank you letter from Pontiac for buying the car, dated 7-7-72 and tons of receipts which show that the car was maintained over the years. Inside is in really nice shape for a 1972, Drivers seat needs some work on the top part of the seat. Dash has one small crack by the passenger side, not bad at all. Power windows work fine. As you can see from the pictures this would make a great driver the way it is, or would be a great car to restore. Pontiac convertibles are getting harder to find. The rear quarters do have rot on both sides, fenders do have some minor rot and some on doors. I do have a receipt from the original owner dated 6/28/96 from a body shop that he did use. Had car redone and painted for a cost of $764.50, that was the last time the body was touched. I do have an extra bumper that's in very nice shape that I purchased on ebay that comes with the car. Underneath the car the frame is solid, and has no rot anywhere. The trunk just has some surface rust, but is very clean otherwise. As you can see from the pictures the car needs a new top. Frame is perfect. Power top goes up and down with no problem. Car is being sold with a very low reserve. Please call for details 516-642-1224
