Still retains both of is original black and yellow Ca license plates. 52,000 original miles. Has been in dry covered storage since 1986 thats why it has such low miles. Same year and model that was in the move The Green Hornet I have rebuilt the carb. had the radiator redone, gas tank lined, all fluids changed. Complete tune up. The car runs and drives perfect! The original V8 starts right up and settles into a nice smooth idle. No smoke, leaks or funny noises. The transmission shifts smooth. Car cruises effortlessly down the road. I wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere. Factory AC is complete and the belt is still on. Compressor turns freely but is not cold. I'm sure it needs a charge after being in storage for 25 years. The body is very straight with absolutely no Rust! No accidents and al original body panels. The undercarriage is also rust free just like you would expect from a California car. The paint is older and shines up nicely and shows well but does have some checking and a few chips here and there. I would say its fine for a driver but if you want a show car you may want to paint it. All of the chrome and trim is in great shape for being nearly 50 years old. The tires have good tread but are old and I'm missing one hubcap. The interior is very nice. The leather seats are perfect with no wear whatsoever. Headliner is nice. Door panels are nice. Really the only thing I would do is replace the original carpet. Its a little worn. Vinyl top looks like new. The power windows do not work. Everything is there. Switches look good. I'm assuming its something simple like a fuse. I haven't had time to get it in to get checked out. All in all its a rock solid California car that draws a crowd everywhere you go. When was the last time you've seen one of these on the road. Definitely stands out in the crowd! TERMS OF SALE - non refundable 1,000 deposit due 24 hours after auction ends. Car needs to be paid for in full within 3 days. I will do everything I can to make this a pleasant buying experience but PLEASE do not bid on it if you do not intend to buy it or if you do not have your finances in order.
