Vehicle Detail
Own one of the cutest Classic Italian cars!! This is the station wagon version of the infamous Fiat 500, known as the Giardiniera or "K" version. This car runs, drives, and brakes great!!! The car also features the unique and desirable suicide doors! Some background information on this model of 500 can be found at http://microcarmuseum.com/tour/fiat500K.html. This car has been completely gone through with the following items replaced new: New steering center link New king pin set, both sides New floor pans, both sides New left rocker panel New left and right outside tie rods New headlight toggle switch New sunroof vinyl New front bumper The paint job on the car has some aging and issues, there are some chips, cracks, blemishes, and runs, however still a decent driver quality. The chrome is decent, the front bumper is new, the rear bumper has a slight bend, headlight rings and one hubcap has some oxidation spots. Soft top sunroof is new, there is a small surface scuff/blemish in one spot. The glass is in good shape, there are some vertical scratches on the driver's side window from opening/closing. The interior is in pretty good shape, it was done with a two tone approach (red door panels and rear seat with black piping, black flooring and front seats), the floor rubber is nice with a few minor splits, the front seat vinyl is near new, there back seat vinyl is OK but there is one small corner tear, the door panels are in nice shape. The car is lacking a jack. Tires are older and have some age cracks in the sidewalls, there is about 3/4 tire tread life left. Car has a complete rustproofing undercoat, the underbody was completely inspected and gone through with new floor pans, new left rocker panel, and some other minor spot metal work. All electricals and guages work. Left rear taillight cover is broken and has a temporary repair. All locks work with key. This car is great fun to drive and always gets attention! The car has a valid state title certificate, just like any other domestic used car, so no special registrations required. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AUCTION ODOMETER READING IS A CONVERSION FROM KILOMETERS TO MILES. Many parts for this car, if ever needed, are available in the US at www.fiatplus.com and at the eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/Everything-Fiat and some other locations in the US and online. As with all vintage cars, I cannot warrant odometer readings. I am a licensed and bonded car dealer and vintage car restorer in the State of Utah, Piccione's, #5869, which is important if you are financing the car through your bank, as dealer issued sales typically get lower interest rates than person to person sales. Financing may also available through eBay or some other online sources. Buyer pays for shipping (I can help arrange transport if you like, I have some cheap connections for various parts of the country). Payment may be by certified bank check or money order, by wire transfer to bank account, or by loan check or personal check once cleared. Paypal is only acceptable through verified accounts for the initial deposit only. The buyer will submit a 5% of purchase price deposit within 72 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle by PayPal or other verifiable payment method unless this requirement is waived by the seller after the auction end. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Based on the age of the car I cannot warrant odometer readings. As all vintage cars I sell, I cannot warrant specific year, make and model. The car is available for inspection. Please remember that an eBay bid is a binding legal contract, not just some intention to consider purchase. Buyer is responsible (if applicable) for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered in. Vehicle is sold as is and does not have warranty.
