This car was never wrecked nor ever had water damage. I purchased the Delorean from USSA insurance back in 2001; the cars condition at that time was slashed tires, fuel pump, gas tank issues, both left and right torsion bars were broken and the car was generally neglected. I corrected those issues a number of years ago. It has the original rims and center caps. This is my second Delorean; the car can be driven across country. Everything is original there is no body damage. The interior seats are original. The left and right arm rest, door side panels, kneepads and center console have all been upholstered (or could be redone again to taste). It has Fan Zilla and door Zilla upgrades, remote door poppers, and remote start. The car has been inspected and certified by California DMV. It passed California strict emission test like a new car. It passed a California required certified lamp and brake VIN# inspection with no issues. After it was brought it out of storage; I had a tune up, oil change and related fluid change. I have driven the car to LA and Las Vegas from the San Francisco Bay Area. I was planning next year to powder coat the wheels, replace both axel boots, steering booths and left side exhaust gasket (approximately 1000 more or less). It all depends what you want to turn the car into. A show car or just a cool every day or weekend driver. A fully updated Delorean can cost upward of 45k. I have invested 13k easily since I have had it. In addition, it comes with about $1000+ of new and used Delorean parts I have accumulated throughout the years. It will only increase in value, but due to the “Salvage Title” it will be valued at 75% of book value. It’s an attention getting car with its black center and side stripes with pin stripe (easily removed if desired) and rear spoiler. I have tried to be as honest and through as I can. Resent tune up and fluid change, passed California smog test. The car is in good condition. It has new shocks – $1000 plus new and used parts , too much to list – rare third break light – remote auto lift doors – remote start – CD DVD Stereo W GPS and new amp – tires less than 1500 miles wear – Current California Brake and lamp inspection passed –Transmission engine in excellent shape and condition – interior in fair condition – ready to drive – no dents – The buyer will be responsible for shipping arrangements – The seller will assist your shipper – Payment shall be made either by cash, bank to bank wire, electronic funds transfer, Pay Pal – I will be moving from area.
