Vehicle Detail
I won't make up a pretty ad, just state the facts and let the car sell itself. * build sheet and original bill of sale * giant folder of documents/ receipts *frame on restored *Ca/Tx car , then in our family since 1993 * rebuilt original 400 engine, have all receipts. so car shows 139k not motor * transmission rebuilt. *no leaks *all new rubbers, basically everything but the interior so far Basically the car is been restored and if incredible shape. The factory color gets a lot of attention , gold in the sun, almost olive greenish in darker light. The body is solid metal, coming from the south we didnt even have rust to deal with. The only spot of rust the size of a dollar bill was in the trunk so we welded a new trunk pan in. The top was replaced around 2000-2001 new tires. front end rebuilt as well. of all the old cars i have had this is certainly the best driving smoothest car I have ever driven. Car runs so good. no smoke at start up, no leaks or anything. Can drive cross country right now. Any questions dont hesitate to ask. Most all has been rebuilt and replaced. radiator ... exhaust...you name it. Now for what the car needs that I havent got to yet. All the above restoration has been done for 4 months and I have driven it only three times...2 of those times to car shows. As you can see the interior isnt horrible but to make it a complete restoration the interior needs redone. The factory color is saddle which is what is under the white. someone painted at some point before we owned it. My intent was to get a stage 3 kit from OPGI and go correct color to make the vehicles value in the mid 30's. the top color is factory correct. The other things that are needed to be complete is for some reasons the turn signals dont work. All lights do though. I'm sure its the flasher fuse but that was part of my interior list. Finally is the a/c compressor needs rebuild. Oh yeah once I picked it up from paint I have all new emblems and stickers for the body and door panels i just never got to them. So 1 day work and 100% done minus interior if color matter to you. Beautiful near perfect car that gets a lot of attention and in my opinion the best year of GTO look wise. It has been done right. Very collectible. 100% numbers matching. I am selling because i have 7 cars and relocating to Texas in 2012. yes all new brake booster, master cyclinder. all new except the 2 lines above. Exhaust sounds awesome, throaty I failed to add i have a lot of extra trim pieces, interior moldings I can send as well. I can get any numbers you would like to cross reference, i just enetred this from the road. Also if you want an inspector to come by just get with me for an appt time. Good luck biddingOn Aug-26-11 at 07:09:47 PDT, seller added the following information: added 2 pics, have one more it wont take. changing format to see if that works.
