For sale: 1979 Firebird Esprit, V8 301cc at, ps, pb, air condition, am/fm cassette. I am the 3rd owner and have had it since 1989, I knew the first and second owners and the car has been garaged since new, driven in the summers. Stored by me for many years (up on blocks) and brought out of storage 3 years ago when I decided to drive it again. I have replaced many items as it needed to be freshened up. This car is original with matching numbers, it has not been modified or altered in any way, it is the way it was when off the factory line. the parts that were replaced were with GM original parts. here is a list , plugs, wires, rotor cap, belts, air filter, gas filter, heater core, blower switch, tires, brakes, both rear axles,( they were pitted causing seals to leak ) all bearings and seals, both rear leaf springs, ( they were weak from age ) front end alignment, gas tank, carpet, and headliner. This firebird runs and drives like it should. The paint is starting to peel on the bumpers and there are 2 small dings in the hood, The metal is all original and in nice condition. Trunk is solid as are the floorboards. The clock does'nt work and e-brake needs a cable, the air needs a charge but does work. This is a very nice car and fun to drive, complete with original build sheet, owners manual and keys. I can answer any questions you might have.
