Because the twin i-beam trucks are horrible to lift, I decided to swap a 4wd OEM axle from a 2004 F250 with 40k on it, and we replaced all moving greaseable parts on the front end for safety sake. The truck is not outfitted with a transfer case or front shaft, but can be, my wife had no need for it, so we never did it, this truck was built to be a big street driven truck. All parts were swapped with original Ford OEM parts, there was ZERO welding or fabrication to make this work, we went the expensive route, and used factory parts to make sure this was absolutly safe for my wife and kids. The swap was done by the widely known shop Wicked Customs. The truck drives amazing, it does not shake at any speed, and on top of that the truck does 14mpg in the city and highway. Everything on this truck works, and is very reliable, there is nothing that needs to be done, fixed or repaired, you are looking at the nicest excursion on the market right now, I work on trucks every day, and excursions are always beat up, missing plastics, have bad window/lock motors, have had speedo errors, cluster replacements, and what not, but with this truck, you will have the peace of mind knowing this is a safe reliable truck for play, or for your family, you can trust this truck 110%. The Truck also has 4.56 gears installed in the rear axle, and I will also throw in a front driveshaft I bought for the truck that I never used for the front end. This truck is 110% built right, there was not a corner cut, or a option that was not taken. We are selling this truck to buy a hummer and customize it. We are not desparate as we love the truck, and would keep it, but we can only have so many toys on my insurance, and this one has to go if we wanna add another one.
