This is my 1961 ragtop daily driver. It is one very reliable bug. It has a rebuilt 1600cc with dual kadron carbs. It has about 15k miles on the engine. The bug is in average condition meaning that for a daily driver it is great. It will need a few things like most of them do these days. It does have a salvage title so it's registered on a 64 pan. I am not for sure the reason why it was salvaged but if you look under the rear driver side fender you can see that it was in a fender bender at one time. It does not look bad at all though. The front apron on the bottom is dented in a little bit. There is some surface rust that I can see poking out from certain areas of the paint. The car does need some cosmetic work but nothing to major. I have a brand new TMI 7 piece carpet kit that I will include. The front windshield on the passenger side has a weird crack so the window will need to be replaced. The speedo also just went out as well so a new speedo is needed. I do have a small tach installed so that will help with your driving until the speedo gets replaced. Ask any questions that you may have because I need to sell my car asap. This bug does need some body work due to the rear end accident at one time. This is why I am selling this car so cheap because of this reason. It's a great bug, but remember that some work is needed on this car. If your good at body work than this car is for you.
