This 1931 Model A Deluxe Sport Coupe with Dual Side Mounts, complete with rumble seat, was the top of the heap in her day (and still is today). The exterior color is black and the interior is the original browish tan color. This car has been lovingly cared for and is in excellent condition. The car is a restored original with the exception of a couple of important modifications. A 1950's vintage Ford 4 speed fully synchronized transmission replaces the original (and is not outwardly apparent as the gear shift and floor board is as original). This makes the car a dream to drive even at freeway speeds and especially when down shifting. Also installed is a Bob Craig Steering box which results in almost a power steering feel. As you can see from the photos, the interior is nicely restored with new seat springs, new door panels, handles and window cranks. Other recent expenditures include battery, tires & tubes, new original style shocks, new front springs, key ignition, speedometer rebuild, temp gauge and turn signals. The car also has hand painted pinstripes. And the crowning finish to this beauty is a handsome handmade mahogany trunk valued at over $500. Included with the car, if sold to a Texas driver, will be the 1931 Texas licence plates (if sold out of state I want to keep the plates). The car drives as good as it looks and needs nothing.
