1957 FORD FAIRLANE 50+++351 V8 ENGINE that runs strong AOD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with overdrive power steering....power brakes VIN D7AV152622 MILEAGE: 86960 TITLE: Clear Tennesseetitle in hand. HISTORY: This car was the pride and joy of a older local man. He loved the car, but his brother decided to sell his car and David liked it better. He put his car up for sale and I bought it. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? Yes and no....... David the past owner did most of the restoration on the car. He did a ugly job on fixing the flat bottoms of the floors where they had rust. He layed in flat sheet metal and did not cut the rust thin sheet metal out of the floors. It looks bad, but did the job, if you have to jack the car up to see it he didn't worry about it. The frame and all frame supports look good with no rust issures the repaired sheet metal bottom of floors are ugly. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint is just drive and enjoy quality. Its been painted for near 10 years and is showing its age!!!!!!!!! No dents, no rusty holes and no rust issuses. The sides of the car below look very good, the top of the trunk, fenders and hood show the age, they have some very minor cracking, lots of specs and very tiny defect. You can't see these in the pictures, but they are there under a inspection. If the paint was a little better this car would be much higher in price. CHROME: The bright work on the car is great. The bumpers, grill and headlight rings look brand new. The stainless is decent. INTEROR: The interior is clean, no smoke smell, it has no holes, no cracks. The painted trim is scuffed in some places, the headliner looks new with some very minor wrinkles, but good enough. The interior looks good. SOUND SYSTEM: After market. UNSERSIDE: Ugly, but not real problem other than thin sheet metal on the bottom that was repaired ugly. GLASS: Windshield is nice with a very faint wiper mark, side windows are good with no cracks and roll up and down good. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 351 Windsor. It has no unwanted rattles or noises. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good used condition. TRANSMISSION: Nice shifting 3 speed automatic plus over-drive. I think this is a AOD model. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its a 9 inch. BRAKES: Good, they stop the car good, they are the original style of drums all around with a power assist booster and dual master cyclinder upgrade. STEERING: Good, the car drives great, it is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES: Tires are Michilin radials that have good tread, the wheels are alloys. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, interior light works and brake lights work. GUAGES: They all work, the temp is mounted in a pod under the dash. SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard!
