98 WV Jetta TDI No Reserve Auction Hello there! A no reserve auction for this 98 VW JETTA TDI black 5 speed, 256.000 miles on body, 200.000 on engine “Bought car with engine issues 4 years ago”. This Jetta has being my personal transportation and tool for the past 4 years and has being extremely reliable and dependable. Car is in very good condition with a solid suspension it runs as it should, without any known problem will take me wherever I need to go. Just took a trip to North Carolina on Wednesday Aug 10th of 585 miles roundtrip with one tank 46 + MPG with excellent A/C running. This Jetta is loaded with A/C and heater system, power lock and windows, aftermarket pioneer MP3 player also a set of 4 Pioneer speakers, all windows, locks and doors operate the way they should. Here in MD has always started without issues regardless the temperature. *I will mention the things I do know that have issues and please do not assume anything please ask before placing a bid. *Sunroof is off track, it moves but rough, it is shut closed and doesn’t leak. *Dent and cilinder lock not working at rear trunk must be release from inside power swicth. Some other dents around car and hood paint chip. (Please see pictures) *Check engine light eventually comes on, it does go away by itself also. Without causing any malfunction on car efficiency 43 MPG in city / 47 MPG on HWY, keeps indicating a glow plug issue. *Normal signs of wear at interior along some cigarretes burns, previous owner used to smoke, “smoke free for the past 4 years”. *There are some signs of rust in vehicle, nothing major. Biggest one is at fuel cap area (see picture). *Faded paint on hood, roof and trunk areas, see pictures please! As I mention this vehicle has been my tool for about 4 years covering my 80 miles commuting needs everyday and being my escort delivering some of the TDI’S I had sold through Ebay, lots of highway miles. During my ownership I had done many different kind of maintenance in my Jetta. I will mention as I remember: - Front Brakes, Rotors and bearings replaced new (2 months ago) - Major front and repair (inner/outer tierods, tierods boots, ball joints, struts, strouts mount and control arms bushing (2 months ago) - Rear brakes shoes, drums and bearings (8 months ago) - Valeo radiator installed (2 years ago) - Timing belt done at 225.000 miles (whole Contitech kit including Timing belt, tensioner and rollers, water pump (graf) and pink pentosin G12 Antifreeze flushed. - EGR/Intake/EGR Pipes cleaned at 225.000. - Fuel Tank cleaned at 207.000. - Oil changes every 8.000 miles with Shell Rotella 5W40 Synthetic. - Fuel filter, air replaced 4.000 miles ago. - Tires are in good condition. - Along with many others. Car needs nothing. It is very efficient, dependable and reliable. No needs to add oil in between the 8000 miles services. I keep traveling with my TDI so it is ready for a trip anywhere. As my personal opinion the car is in very good condition but please keep in mind that you’re not buying a brand new vehicle and it isn’t perfect. I do have a clean MD state title under my name and it is ready to be transfer to a new owner anywhere in the states. New Owner will be offered assistance in any case that is needed. I could pick you up at any of the three Metro DC area airports (Washington DC. Baltimore MD. Dulles VA), also car could be dropped in anyone of them by your arrival time. Keep in mind that car has not tags, so you are to bring tags or temporary permit to transport the vehicle. Also buying the car from me you have the option of FREE delivery anywhere not further than 250 miles from Gaithersburg, MD. It is really a pleasure for me to drive my TDI’s to their new destination and this is not an exception. Yes, FREE. Tolls are to be added to the final price if there is any in between the 250 miles distance. This is a straight auction, so please, don’t e-mail or call me with any offers, this auction will run until the very last moment set, so you can be confident that your bid is taken very seriously. Auction with no fears and no reserve price will be set by you “the buyer” not a dollar more or less, that way I guarantee you that you’re buying a car on a fair price in the market. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due after 48 hours that auction has ended through Paypal and the rest of the balance are to be paid in full within 1 week after deposit as cash in person or cashier’s check. Clean MD title that is ready for you to be transfer under your name in the states, also for MD residents a Certificate of Inspection can be issued if desired, keep in mind that is not included on the final price, $75 extra will be added if new buyer is interested. I am just offering the service because I’m confident it’ll pass without problems. I do know that buying a car on-line doesn’t offer you the same assurance as buying it in person so you’re more than welcome to bring your mechanic to inspect and drive the car, it will be my pleasure to show it to you. TDIs are very joyful and fun vehicles to work on so that’s why I’m involved in investing my time in them, is more for me as a hobby than any other thing.
