Up for sale today is a 1973 Ford Highboy ¾ ton 4X4 with four speed transmission and a 390 engine. This is a California truck; I bought it from the original owner and it appears to have never been wrecked and is 100% rust free. It was a white truck originally that he painted brown and on the driver side of the bed near the optional gas door it looks like it was touched after the paint job. The front brakes are 45% there and the rear brakes and wheel cylinders were just replaced. The truck has been off the road for several years and needs very little work to make it a perfect driver. I have driven this truck around some and it drives and shifts good. There are no noises that I can hear; the only issue that I found was that it hesitates when it’s cold and may need a good tune up or possible carburetor cleaning. If you are looking for a truck to restore without a bunch of patch panels or aftermarket body parts this is it. Or if you’re looking for a good driver this truck, with very little care, is it. The reserve is less than a good paint job.
