1979 Chevy Camaro Z28. First off this is a real Z28. It is on the title and everything. I've been down several different roads with this car, I had it running and driving at one point but then decided I wanted to drag race it. Well funds ran out about half way through that project and here it sits. BODY Other than my begginer primer job and untrained bondo work the body isn't in too bad of shape. There is a little bondo that needs sanded down in the passanger side door where I filled a dent, it will also need a passanger side rocker panel. Other than just a little surface rust in a few places the body is pretty solid. It's had a driver's side floor pan patch put in it but the rest of the floor is solid. It's not pictured but I do have a six inch fiberglass pin on hood that goes with the car. Drivetrain As I said before I had this car running and driving at one point. In that process I totally rebuilt the front end. I took it down to the frame rails and replaced everything. Springs, shocks, tie rods, ball joints, brakes, the works. I owned a Carquest auto parts store so everything was top notch premium line parts, nothing but the best stuff went on the car. It has drilled and slotted rotors on the front. Edelbrock shocks on the back. It has lowering springs in the front. All of this stuff has less than 500 miles on it before I decided to tear the car down again. The rearend is a 4.56 gear with a spool in it. It has 31 spline axles as well. Its a 10 bolt GM rear. Racing Mod's The car has a professionally installed roll cage by Donnie Gibbs Racing in Moorsville, NC. It has a fuel cel in the trunk. A high flow Holly electric fuel pump mounted under the rear bumper. The car is plumped with all dash 8N line all the way to the front. There is a fuel pressure regulator up front and a fuel pressure gauge mounted on the cowl. The original wiring has been modified to run the car off of a dash mounted control panel. Most of the wiring is hooked up but a few things will need to be finished. Any wiring harness we took out of the car I have to go with it. The car has been converted to manual steering via a 1st gen camaro box. It also has manual brakes and a line lock on it. The line lock is mounted but needs a line or two run to be functional. The car has a removable steering wheel for easy access. There are no gauges in the car but I do have the factory gauge panel just no gauges for it. I also have a back seat, I do not have any front seats. I also have a few various trim pieces that will go with the car. I have a 3'' custom bent exausht for the car with single chamber flowmasters. I have the drive shaft, cross member, etc. Everything I can round up will go with the car. There is also an MSD box mounted in the car. I hate to see it go but I don't have the money to finish it or a dry place to keep it. The auction does not include any wheels you will have to bring your own. IF YOU WANT I can include a set of rusted crager ss wheels with bald tires and have them mounted on the car and ready to go for an EXTRA $50 bucks over whatever the final bid is. Also if you need the car delivered I'd be willing to bring it a couple hundread miles anyway for an added fee but please make those arrangements before bidding. Also please plan on making a $500 dollar deposit within 48 hours of winning the bid.
