We're very proud to offer our 1972 Ghia up for auction. It only has 66909 original miles! Hands down this is a very beautiful convertible! Would love to keep it, but we're selling everything to build a new house. This car just got painted a beautiful yellow, very close to the original color. The car has been gone through completely. All the chrome looks like new. New brakes and had the brake system flushed. New windshield, battery, gas cap, gas gauge sender unit, luggage rack, almost all new seals. The tires only have 2500 miles on them. I have receipts for everything as well. Just got a tune-up, new oil and had the valves adjusted.You will not find any rust anywhere. I believe the floor pans are original as is the bodyand frame. Steering is tight, just had that adjusted, too. This car really drives like it was new! The top looks goods, too. I believe it's original and it just had 2 places repaired where the thread was coming loose. As far as the interior goes, I believe to be original too and in very nice condition, with some new floor mats with the 'Ghia' name on them. Seats, panels etc look teriffic, too.The transmission is sound and shifts beautifully thru all 4 gears. Everything works as it should, including the clock! All the body panels, doors etc all line up evenly. The nose looks like it's never been hit. Everything shuts correctly without any rattling going down the road. This car also comes with the convertible boot and a car cover. The spare is really cool, I believe it's an original tire that came from the factory. It also has the berg shifter and the original manual. It's my understanding it has been garaged most of it's life and looks that way too.
