1963 Pontiac Tempest, completely restored in 2001, beautiful black b/c paint, showing no ageing at all. Tri-tone red interior almost perfect. Steering wheel has no cracking, headliner was replaced as was carpet. Engine is 4 cly with 1 bbl carb, 115 HP, runs great. 3 speed manual transmission, new single exhaust. Redline radial tires, full wheel covers that are almost perfect. New chrome bumpers and trim. Just took 2nd in class at the Pontiac Nationals at Norwalk Ohio, Aug 7th, 2011. Nice car needing very little. Reason for selling: I was going to pull car apart and create a SuperDuty clone, with 9" Ford rearend, ladder bar rear suspension, and large Pontiac V8 and auto trans. However I feel the car is to nice to do that to after looking closely at it. If someone is looking for a stock 1963 Tempest in extraordinary condition, this is it.
