All together I have invested over $7,000 and have receipts for all the work that's been done. Selling so I can focus on other projects I have going on right now. Truly a great opportunity for someone to get a 4x4 vehicle which gets 27-30mpg and has a long list of new parts which includes a new engine! Runs and drives great! Please see details below for more information. The Good - Only 100 miles on rebuilt 1.3l hi-performance long block motor. Professionally installed by Rod's Samurai in Marshalltown, IA. 1 year warranty. (Rebuilt hi performance 1.3 longblock with 0 miles for Suzuki Samurai. Includes new high compression custom built flat top pistons with new improved ring design; new crank kit, new water pump and new oil pump. New mid range power cam. Rebuilt head with new exhaust valves, new premium valve seals. The valves have been set and it also comes with a valve cover, oil pan, new timing belt, new timing belt cover. Everything has been thoroughly cleaned and has a fresh coat of paint. This is the most complete long block out there.) - New heavy duty clutch kit and resurfaced flywheel - New front turn signals - New Sunpro temp gauge - New transmission locate bolt - New transfer case shifting sheet - New fan belt - New oil change, filter, spark plugs, and radiator hoses - New Battery - New Alternator - New tires - New Shocks - New steering stabalizer - New front rotors and pads - Newer soft top - Weber carburetor - Great working 4 wheel drive system The Bad - tear in drivers seat - some rust in rockers - needs some body work rear quarters(see pics) - needs heater core (copper nipple broke and bypassed, only needed if you want heat) - crack in windshield - wiper arms loose from windshield frame (recommend new frame, wiper motor good) This Samurai runs fantastic and is so much fun to drive! Yes, it needs a few things here and there BUT when you consider what you get for the price it's a pretty amazing deal. The engine/clutch/transmission work alone cost me over $3k. Miles on the body are 98,998 and miles on the new motor are 100. I've tried to describe the good and bad as best I can, but may have left something out.
