Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful, completely restored 1967 Camaro. This car is entirely rust-free and has been restored to a modern day Camaro. I bought this car in May of 2004; it was a project car and we have restored it to as near to original as possible, yet a more modern day car. The modern effects that we put on it include: alarm system, CD player, disc brakes, intermittent windshield wipers, automatic door locks, etc. I drove this car every day and loved every minute of it; it’s a great daily driver car and attracts lots of looks! I can only hope that the buyer of this car will do this same in respect to my wishes. In 2008, I wanted to re-paint the car due to wear-and-tear as well as fixing an oil leak in the engine and getting a better steering system. The Camaro was returned to me with a re-built engine, new rack and pinion steering, and a new paint job. Also added was a button for windshield-wiper fluid and intermittent wipers. Hopefully these modern additions to the Camaro will better help the new owner. Let’s start with the exterior: The doors are original and fit correctly with the rest of the car. The trunk lid is original, however the spoiler is new. The fenders and quarter-panels are OEM products and fit correctly on the car; it exhibits a straight and clean fit. The whole front assembly has been replaced. This car is pieced together in a solid and rattle-free condition. Every part of this car has been re-done or adjusted to what it looks like today. It is a beautiful car and attracts lots of attention. The Camaro drives straight and extremely well. A newly re-built engine brings the mileage to about 8,350. With a newly added frame, the car turns corners sharp and smooth. This car has excellent power and does a good job of burning rubber on the pavement. There is no leakage from the car nor do any unusual noises arise when driving it. This car is meant to be driven on a daily basis. It has been driven around in the Kansas City area and does not exhibit any major problems. It is definitely a garage queen, but will start up hot or cold and drive immediately.
