This is as close to a new 2003 Goldwing 1800 as you will find. I am the original owner and it has only 8999 careful miles, all within 50 miles of my home. It has no damage whatsoever, has been kept in my garage in Southern California every night since new, and looks, sounds, and handles like new. Actually it looks much better than new. It is the top of the line Goldwing with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), a very valuable feature that may someday save your life. This bike is really made for touring and is the most comfortable bike you can get for touring. I installed an extra tall Tulsa windscreen to keep wind off of the passenger in back of me, and wind deflectors on the mirrors. I have two other bikes to tool around town, have had no opportunity to tour and need room in the garage, so on the block this beautiful candy red Goldwing goes. I have always found that floorboards are more comfortable and have installed them along with a number of other accessories listed below. This motorcycle comes with a nice tool kit that has never been used, and has the full factory Service Manual as well as the complete factory Parts catalog. Also, it has a nice Goldwing folio for the owner’s manual and other records to keep on the bike. I have the original unused factory windscreen and foot pegs if any buyer wants to reinstall them. Tires are original and still have a few thousand miles left. I replaced the battery three years ago. To add some class I have tastefully applied mirror gold pinstriping here and there which goes nicely with the Goldwing emblem and motif. To keep track of the battery I installed a digital voltage readout on the right fascia which is on all the time and shows at a glance the state of the battery. It draws around 2 milliamps and is a negligible drain. This readout is clearly visible when sitting or riding to monitor battery condition and alternator output so you will never be caught off guard while touring if the alternator gives out. To add braking visibility, I added an LED brake light spoiler to the trunk lid, which really alerts cars behind whenever my brakes are applied. The factory halogen headlamps on this bike are phenomenal. For night riding in traffic (low beam) the center two lamps are lit and for high beam all four come on. The brightness and range of these high beam lights are better than any car I have driven. The title is free and clear. Never having toured with it I do not know the mpg on an all day run. Around town it gets between 33 and 40 mpg depending on how you use the throttle. I have read that it will go from zero to sixty in less than 4 seconds but have not verified that.
