This car was hand built for me personally at the expense of my (soon to be) ex-wife in 1982. I have loved this car and recently had every nut and bolt on this car removed and polished that I believe now its award winning. The motor is a custom tuned porsche 914 racing motor that can easily blow pass any other car in its class. Everything you see on the car works perfectly from the windshield wipers, lights, horn or stereo, its all excellent. The car was built for me on the chasis of my superbeetle that had been a show car in absolute perfect condition. This TD was hand built by a race car builder and completed to very meticulous specifications. Everything on the car is shining and in excellent condition, the chrome almost looks as if it were brand new. The interior leather has no creases or rips of any kind its amazing! I can tell you first hand that the car indeed does ONLY HAVE 6500 MILES! Not a single mile more since built. These cars are available elsewhere however were not created nor well kept to keep it in comprable condition. The average TD you find for sale is one that had been left on the side of a tool shed for 10 years which this one clearly is not. This car needs nothing which I want everyone to acknowledge, its good to go!
