THIS IS A 1955 210 BEL AIR 2 DOOR POST. I RESCUED THIS OLD NOSTALGIC DRAG CAR DROM A LOCAL SALVAGE YARD. I HAD TO CUT AWAY THE ENTIRE FLOOR FROM TOE BOARD TO TAIL PANEL AS IT WAS TOO FAR GONE TO REPAIR. I INSTALLED AFTERMARKET INNER AND OUTER ROCKER PANELS. I THEN HAND CRAFTED FLOOR BRACES FROM 1 BY 2 STEEL AND USED 18 GAUGE FOR THE FLOOR SHEETING. I HAD NOT PLANNED ON TUBBING IT BUT THE FARTHER I GOT I DISCOVERED THE FLOOR WAS JUST NOT WORTH SAVING. IT HAS HUGE REAR WHEEL TUBS AND HAND CRAFTED TUNNEL. NEEDS A LITTLE WELDING AND FINISH WORK BUT NOT MUCH. MAINLY THE TRUNK FLOOR. THE CHASSIS WAS REMOVED AND DISASSEMBLED AND ALL PARTS SAND BLASTED. I THEN COATED THEM WITH EASTWOOD SIMILAR TO POR 15. I INSTALLED MANDREL BENT 4 LINK FRAME RAILS. IT HAS ECONOMY COIL OVER SHOCKS WITH PAN HARD BAR. THE REAR AXLE IS A FACTORY EATON AND HAS A LOCKER WITH 5:13 GEARS. THIS WAS IN THE CAR WHEN I GOT IT AND LOOKS TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE. THE AXLE HAS NOT BEEN NARROWED. THE FRONT IS ALL NEW WITH McGAUFFYS DISC BRAKE SETUP. ALL NEW BALL JOINTS, TIE RODS AND UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARM SHAFTS WITH NEOPRENE BUSHINGS. THE BODY HAS NEW NEOPRENE MOUNTS BUT COULD USE MORE AS I ADDED MORE MOUNTS FOR REINFORCEMENT. IT IS SET UP FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I HAVE ALL THE LINKAGE TO GO WITH THE CAR. IT HAS A NEW MASTER CYLINDER AND POWER BRAKE BOOSTER PURCHASED FROM EBAY FOR A 55. I HAVE NOT PURCHASED OR INSTALLED BRAKE LINES. HAS NO REAR BRAKES BUT I HAVE THE BACKING PLATES AND DRUMS. THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION DO NOT GO WITH THE CAR BUT IF WANTED I WILL INCLUDE THE 55 STYLE BELL HOUSING, NEW FRONT 55 STYLE MOTOR MOUNT, STARTER AND HEADMAN HEADERS FOR 55 AND DRIVESHAFT. HAS A GOOD STOCK RADIATOR WITH NEW HOSES THAT GO WITH CAR. I HAVE TAIL LIGHT LENS FRONT APRON AND LOWER FENDER PIECES ALL IN GOOD CONDITION. I DO NOT HAVE HEADLIGHT BUCKETS OR TURN SIGNALS. THIS IS A GREAT HOME GROWN PLAY TOY WHERE YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. A SOLID ALMOST FINISHED STRUCTURE WISE 55. YOU CAN PULL MANY OF THESE HOME THINKING YOU HAVE A SOLID CAR UNTIL YOU START DIGGING AND FIND ALL THE FLOOR PULLED AWAY FROM THE BODY AND THE PROCESS BEGINS. THE HARD PART HEERE HAS BEEN DONE. NOW YOU CAN FINISH A CLEAN CHASSIS CAR AND BE DRIVING IT SOON. WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED. REAR IS GOOD. SIDE GLASS IS STARTING TO BUBBLE AROUND EDGES AND DRIVERS IS CRACKED. NO TITLE BUT I HAVE DEALT WITH LAS VEGAS TITLE COMPANY AND IT IS A SIMPLE PROCESS FOR $250.00. BID TO OWN. IF YOU COME LOOK AND ARE NOT HAPPY GIVE MY LISTING FEE AND WALK AWAY. I HAVE THE NEW $50.00 INNER PATCH BUT YOU WILL NEED THE NEW $50.00 OUTER PATCH. THE PASSENGER FENDER I THINK CAN BE DEALT WITH WITHOUT PURCHASING PATCH PIECES. THE LOWERS ON BOTH CAN ALSO BE REPAIRED EASILY. HOOD NEEDS ADJUSTED TO LATCH PROPERLY. THE TRUNK AREA NEEDS FINISHED SO THE TRUNK LID WILL LATCH. I HAVE A PASSENGER TAIL LIGHT PATCH PANEL. THIS PIECE STARTS AT THE TOP OF THE TAIL LIGHT AREA AND GOES TO THE BOTTOM AND OVER TO THE TAIL PANEL BELOW THE TRUNK. COST WAS $170.00 I ALSO HAVE A NEW TAIL PANEL THAT GOES BELOW THE TRUNK. COST AROUND $70.00 YOU WILL NEED THE DRIVERS QUARTER TO TAIL PANEL PATCH BUT NOT THE BIG ONE. RUST DID NOT GO UP AS HIGH. THEY MAKE A PANEL FOR AROUND $85.00 THAT GOES TO THE TAIL PANEL AND HALF WAY UP. HAVE SEVERAL EXTRA PARTS. WILL NEED FUEL CELL AND BRAKE LINES PURCHASED AND HOOKED UP.
