2002 4x4 Dodge 1500 SLT – 8’ FT Bed! You are bidding on excellent running Dodge Ram pick-up. I bought this truck from a Dodge dealership in 2004 when it had only 25,000 miles. Since then, all oil changes at 3,000 miles and tire rotations at 6,000 miles. I never had a plow on it, or had it do any sort of heavy towing (even though it came with a towing package). This vehicle was used mostly as a commuter (when gas was cheap) and more recently, my “yard sale” truck for the last couple of years. What I think makes this truck awesome is the fact that it has an 8 ft bed, (rare for trucks today) but it’s great when you need to purchase lumber. Interior The interior is in excellent shape with everything in working order. The rear window bracket is broken but window still opens and closes fine. The bed is also in excellent shape and has a Line-X liner (cost $525). Exterior It is missing a front fog lamp (right side) and has rust on the bottom of the tailgate and a little bit under the cab (see pics). The tailgate does not open using the handle, but does open easily using a screwdriver - its probably something really easy to get fixed. The alternator, serpentine belt and tensioner were recently replaced. It does have some scratches and a few dings, but that can be expected for its age. Tire tread is good with many more miles of life and no curb rash. Engine The truck has a 4.7L Magnum engine (better gas mileage than the Hemi). The motor is strong and runs very smooth. Transmission shifts smoothly and the 4x4 operates perfectly. This vehicle has always been very dependable and runs great.
