Ok so we are also selling our 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (Betty) is her name. This is a beautiful car and gets looks everywhere she goes. We have over 14,000 into our Ghia we have receipts for all the work done to our car. So the 1600cc thats in it was built 3500 miles ago by a veteran VW mechanic who has been building Volkswagen motors for 30 years. The paint was done by a professional painter and is postal blue a very pretty dark blue. The underneath of the car was redone in noise reducing rust preventative rubberized paint. Just like you would find under a brand new car. Everything from front to back has been fixed. New wiring throughout the entire car new carpet. The dash was painted to match. The seats are the original black vinyl and are in beautiful shape. She does have a booster fan installed for the heating system so the defrost actually works and the heater will roast you out of the car. It is a 3 stage fan low, med, high. The headliner is original but again in beautiful condition no sagging, no holes, and no discoloration. The door panels have been redone in black vinyl to match the seats. The bumpers are not original they are a very nice polished aluminum and looks great on the car. Every thing works on this car just as it would of in 1969. It is like driving a brand new car no clunks, no weird noises when you go over the railroad tracks. This is a great car and she is very beautiful. Now, when I say everything works it works you dont have to jiggle any knobs to make the lights come on. Everything works I know weird for a VW right lol. Our little Ghia has the straightest body you can get NO DENTS. So speedo works, headlights work, high beams work, taillights work, blinkers front and back work, and brake lights work. Betty is a Ghia that needs no work she is very beautiful the way she is. Everything on this car was done by solid professionals no shady work was done to this car. Now my daughter named her Betty which I thought was very cute as it was also a term used way back to describe a pretty girl how fitting right=-} Oh the tires have tons of tread on them and the wheels are very nice on her.
