1972 Honda SL 125 MotosportVery RareLow MilesLOW reserveBIDDING STARTS AT .99cents Up for auction is another pristine vintage Honda Motorbike. This is an SL 125 and came out of a estate in the San Francisco bay area. Not only is the one of the rarest SL 125 it is in exceptional condition and rides like a charm. What makes this bike rare is the fact it was the only year on the Special Silver Metallic and Red color combination. What makes this bike so special is how nice condition it is in from the gas tank on down to the shocks this bike is a beautiful machine. What more can yo want from your classic Honda motorcycle than one that runs and looks like it should be in a museum. I can not emphasize enough how nice this sl 125 is cosmetically. The tank shines like the sun and has no scratches in it what so ever. The red stripe still is vibrant and full of color as well as the black HONDA sticker on the sides which is not ripped at all. The fenders are in nice condition and the silver shines bright. The side covers are also in very nice condition, there is some minor cracked spots a common problem with vintage bikes. The side cover stickers are like new condition and have no fadeing or ripping what so ever. All the aluminum and chrome shine to perfection. A characteristic you do not see every day with a bike of this age. Again the most beautiful part of this bike is the tank and just how spectacular of condition it is in. Not only is it a rare tank but it looks like it did 39 years ago when this bike was new. Mechanically this bike in very good condition for the age. It runs nicely and shifts clean with out any hesitation or clunking. The engine itself is in very nice condition the aluminum shine nicely and does not have all the scuffs and scratches a 39 year old bike would have. The lights work with a little tinkering with the wires and maybe a decent charge in the battery. The shocks are in good original condition and it rides nicely. The wheels and tires are in good condition. And the seat is also in very nice shape for the age. It has one very small tear by the H in honda. Other than that it is in exceptional original condition. The exhaust pipe is another rare part that is in wonderful original condition. DO NOT MISS out on this oppurtunity to own this one of kind bike at such a LOW RESERVE. It is going up in value and is a great investment better than money in the bank. This is a perfect bike for a beginner rider or a avid collector of fine vintage motorcycles.
