Vehicle Detail
Original Texas car, no rust and straight body from what I saw underneath, that I purchased from another private owner in Georgia. He had problems keeping the car running so, when I bought it I knew the problem was the fuel pump. He had already replaced the plugs, throttle position sensor, O2 sensor, serpentine belt and tensioner, and some of the exhaust including both mufflers. When I got it home, I replaced the fuel pump and filter which is all it needed to run properly. It has a come and go error code for the egr sensor which I also replaced, diagnostics show a low voltage signal coming to it still and the code still pops up. The drivers seat has some wear and separation on the top left side bolster, can be seen in the pic. The headliner has scratches in the back seat area from previous owner(s), I have a spare black headliner I can send with the car if the winner wants it (free). The power antenna doesnt go up/down, although the motor for it runs every time, the antenna just needs to be replaced and I have a new one for it.The radio is an after market CD player that came in the car. The driver side A pillar cover has broken tabs ( it came off after I got it home) and the previous owner(s) had bumped the right taillight and broken it and bent the corner of the trunk lid, spare taillight on parts car. I also have new brake pads that will come with the car. The main problem that the previous owner didnt know about since he couldnt drive it, is that the transmission doesnt lock up in overdrive resulting in poor fuel mileage. The car will and does drive at freeway speeds, it just gets around 18 mpg doing it. I had gotten a lower mileage SHO parts car of the same year to take the transmission out of, but I dont have the time to work on it anymore due to new responsibilities at work. To complicate things more, my neighbor has asked me to do something with them since I have them parked between our houses. The car has tags and insurance if anyone wants a test drive. Everything works on the car now, minus the transmission work thats needed. **The parts car is available for sale as well, but it cant be shipped. It needs to be moved by a flat bed truck. Please ask any questions.
