You are bidding on a 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, in used condition. The car is spacious, luxurious, and powerful; it has power windows, power brakes, power steering, power seat adjustments, cruise control, and automatic headlight dimmers. There's a huge trunk, plenty of legroom and headroom in the cabin, armrests, and plush bench seats in the front and back that can comfortably seat six. It was bought new by my boss's Dad, driven for around 100,000 miles, then sat in a garage for a few years before I bought it from him and began restoring it. The work I did on it includes installing a new cam and lifters, new water pump, new front rotors, new rear wheel cylinders, new rubber brake lines, new front and rear brake pads and shoes, includes new set of front shocks (not installed).The V-8 472 cubic inch engine runs, but has an engine knock probably caused by a loose rod bearing, and that needs to be fixed before the car is safe to drive long distances.As far as cosmetics, the paint is faded significantly on the trunk and some spots on the front quarter panels. Also, the upholstery is worn threadbare in a few small patches on the driver's side seat; it's still comfortable to sit in and completely functional and undamaged in each of the passenger's seats. This car was my baby for years, but I'm in a tight spot financially and I have to give it up. It's a pleasure to drive, a head-turner and a powerhouse; this car is for someone who will put as much love into it as I did.
