1971 Plymouth GTX, 440 with 727 automatic. 3.55 sure grip rear end. You are bidding on a beatiful musclecar. The GTX is rare and 1971 was the last year offered with the GTX as a model. This car has laser straight panels and paint. All original panels on this car. The VIN, radiator support, cowl and fender tag are all matching numbers. This is a real GTX and more desirable than the mass produced Roadrunner. The paint and body show very well and you can be proud to drive or show it. All of the panels appear to be original and not replaced. There is no rust or damage on this vehicle. Power steering and brakes. The engine is a 440 that I was told by the prior owner that it was rebuilt several years ago along with the transmission and rear end. It was only driven 2-3 thousand miles since done. I was told it has forged pistons, and has eldebrock performer rpm intake, hooker ceramic coated headers, 700cfm holley mechanical secondary double pumper, aluminum water pump, mini starter, MP Performance distributor and chrome box electronic ignition. The engine runs very strong and will smoke the tires at will and will also spin them when shifting into 2nd gear. Runs, starts, and drives great. The transmission shifts firm and the rear-end has the posi/suregrip 3.55 ratio. You can cruise nicely at 60-65mph. The interior has legendary seat covers, headliner, new carpet, package tray, and a dash cap. All gauges work and it has a working factory AM/FM stereo! It has a B&M Ratchet shifter. New gas tank and 3/8" sender and fuel line. KYB shocks, new ball joints, tie rods, rebuilt power steering box. New brakes, hardware, hoses. New trim rings and center caps on correct 15" ralley wheels with 235 60 15 tires. This car starts, idles, and runs great. It has a lot of power with the big 440 and drives great on the highway or around town. The dual exhaust with the machine-gun tips also sounds great. This car is ready to enjoy.
