Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1937 Cadillac, Model 60, 4 dr sedan. I have owned this car for 24 years. SHE STARTS AND RUNS GREAT. It has 44k original miles. It has been garage kept all of its life. I have stored it in a heated warehouse for the time I have owned her. I am a collector/hobbiest, not a dealer, and always had much pride of ownership in all of my cars. She has no rust, original interior with some moth damage, most of the components have been restored or rebuilt. The paint is good but not show, with some scraches. She has a stainless steel exhaust with a porcelin exhaust tip. My advice to people buying an antique car is to always buy a complete car; that way if a part is needed, you know what you are looking for. This car is complete. She has a radio that I had restored, and a heater. The "B" WWII gas ration sticker is still on the back window. Some of the wood grain paint on the dash has peeled. I would rate the car as a strong number 3 that could be driven and enjoyed. Carborator, generator, fuel pump rebuilt. Gas tank cleaned and coated. Gas tank fuel lines installed new. Gas level indicator rebuilt. New wiring harness, new rubber installed, new hubcaps and emblems. Radio restored, heater, electric fuel pump. Windows work and in good condition. New battery. I have tried to explain the car to the best of my ability and knowledge, and do not want to be held accountable for any misunderstandings or misgivings. She is a 74-year old car. Will need a $500.00 deposit within 2 days of purchase, and will only accept cash or a certified check for the balance. It was ordered on 10/12/36. The engine number, which was hand written, seems to read; 6030548.On Jul-28-11 at 09:14:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is not a Fleetwood, it is body by Fisher.
