1973 BMW 2002 with extensive mods. Brakes; All new lines formed from new master cylinder with stainless steel lines for new front calipers. New cross drilled/slotted rotors. New pads in front.Rear in excellent condition. Parking brake works as it should.Of course new fluid too. Suspension; All new Ireland engineering urethane bushings front and rear,differential,and body mounts. IE front and rear sway bars, Bilstein sport shocks front and rear. New H & R sport springs {removed one coil on fronts to lower more}. IE urethane steering coupler.Front and rear strut braces with the rear welded in place for added strength along with the battery relocated to rear. Also rollbar is welded in place.15 x 8 aluminum wheels with zero offset. Runway195/50 fronts and Hankook Ventus 225/45 rear tires.Tires are new with less then a 1000 miles on them. Engine; The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner but I do not have paper work to verify this but when the IE 292 cam was installed my mechanic did a compression check and all cylinders were even. Webber 40's jetted with IE help. Flywheel was lightened.New clutch and bearing. IE distributor and wires. 4 speed transmission shifts smooth and feels tight. Body; The paintjob done by a friend of mine is just ok. I really wanted to get it repainted but was more focused on the performance of the car. The new owner can decide what he or she wants to do with this issue. There was some rust issues that my mechanic did resolve but the rocker panels and spare tire area do need some attention. Rear strut towers were welded with patchs and the drivers floor was also addressed. Lights;New H4 european headlights and flat style blinkers. One license plate light is out. All other lights work. The blower inside does not work. Did not bother cause I only drive the car on nice days.Sunroof works.Momo suede steering wheel and stainless steell pedal plates. The car is ready for autocrossing or just a great summer car. Car is fast and pulls strong.Many other new parts I probably forgot but I'm sure any interested buyers will ask.On Aug-02-11 at 20:57:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The mileage on the car has over 100,000 miles.
