Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I am selling my 1974 Ford Maverick Grabber at NO RESERVE so good luck bidding. Somebody will be going home with this car. It has 80,931 original miles with original 302 CIV 2V 8-cylinder 5.0L engine and an automatic transmission. There has only been two owners before me. This Maverick underwent a full restoration from the previous owner and I believe it was done in 2004 but I'm not 100% sure. A large binder is included with receipts, photos, and other papers documenting the restoration but doesn't say then it was done unfortunately. The ORIGINAL bill of sale for $4,019.51 is also included. This car is in great condition but this is a 1974, so there are some flaws that need attention. There is rust on the front left side of the bumper, there are some rust bubbles that have appeared just outside the passenger side rear wheel well under the paint, and there are a few quarter size dings across the hood. Check out the posted photos for more detail on condition etc. As they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Mechanically this car is very sound, but shakes and pulls to the right so it badly need an alignment. The transmission either slips a little between 2nd and 3rd gear, or it has a shifter kit in it, I am not sure which one. The AC compressor is not hooked up, but IS included. Overall this is a great car and I get compliments on it all the time and is a real head turner at car shows. It also sounds as good as it looks. I'm sorry to see it go but I'm having trouble making a construction loan payment, so I'm having to sell some toys to make ends meet so my loss, your gain.
