OK before you look any further this car does not run because there is no motor in it. There is a brand new Ford short block for the car and the motor just has to be reassembled and put back in the car. So before you bid remember the car is not running. This is my 1997 Ford Taurus SHO she has been my baby for many years now, and I have put alot of time into making her into something nice. But I have had alot of motor issues in the last couple of years, and no it was not a spun cam. It dislodged a shim a couple years back did some damage to the bucket and the head walls. Well we did a head replacement and she ran really nice for a couple of months then the oil pump got plugged and I spun a bearing. Long story short right now the car has no motor in it as it has been taken out to be redone. But instead I have bought a brand new block with all new pistons bearings, etc it was still in the box from ford with the yamaha paperwork inside. But I just do not have the ambition or time anymore to put into it. I would rather be home spending time with my family then continually working on SHO's. But for the good, the car was completely repainted and all of the rust repaired 4 years ago. The interior is in great shape with the leather seats in almost perfect shape. the car has had many upgrades such as a complete automatic air suspension with adjustable, or automatic dampening. Tinted tail and marker lights, tinted windows, fairly new tires probably about 2000 miles on them. There is many extra parts that I have collected over the years that will go along with the car as well. If the car does not sell for the buy it now price the air suspensions electronics will all be removed from the car. I love this car and really hate to get rid of it but times change and so do priorities. Please only bid if you intend to pay or make an offer only if you intend to follow through with it. This car has no warrenty and ther is non expressed. It is being sold as is.
