I am selling a Ford Escort EXP with a 1.9L H.O. 4cyl 5spd. I bought it last winter with a blown motor as a project. I work at an auto parts store with an engine shop attached. I bought another motor to rebuild. It has a new crankshaft kit, oil pump, bearings, reused rods, new pistons and rings. The head was checked and machined. The valve cover, intake, oil pan, and other reused parts were acid dipped to clean them and then repainted. It has a new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, heater core and hoses. It has all new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and ignition module. The transmission was drained and new axle seals were put it in, new clutch kit, and flywheel was turned. It has all new brakes including; master cylinder, all hoses, pads, rotors, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and hardware. I have a lot of extra parts to go with the car including; cylinder head, power steering pump, distributor, and misc parts. The car was red with a black bottom but it was faded so I sprayed it with gray primer. The car is absolutely rust free and extremely solid. There are a few defects. The left front marker lens is broken. (A guy I work with was parked next to me and when he left he didn't see my car and rubbed against it. It broke the lens and scuffed the paint but no structural damage.) The left front tire has a bulge like a broken belt or cord. It has a slight rough idle when you first start it up, like a bad sensor or something, but after about 10 seconds it clears right up and runs perfect. The car has 511 miles on it since it was all redone. I have a huge stack of receipts for all the work done and parts bought.
