This is a one owner,high mileage car that has always been factory maintained. Car ordered new by me 02/2004 from Dreyer & Reinbold, 9375 Whitley Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240 (Phone 317 573-0200 ) and delivered 03/2004. The car was serviced by Dreyer & Reinbold according to scheduled services. Car has always had synthetic oil. New Michelin tires ( MXV4 PLUS ) at -----166,025------ mileage. These are the same brand and type as originally came on the car and have always given in excess of 70,000 miles per set. 6 Disk C/D rear changer added 2008 New front rotors and pads January, 2011 New rear pads July, 2011 New battery 12/19/2009 The Navigation works flawlessly and has found me when lost countless times. The 6 disk CD changer works fine. The air-conditioning is as cold as ever and has never needed attention. Current mileage is 204,459 As you can tell by the high mileage, most of the miles up until my retirement in 2009 have been highway miles. I averaged well over 30,000 miles a year up until 2009. On my last two trips to Florida, the car average in excess of 20 mpg on the road. What needs attention: The halo outer lights are not working, the hi and low beam inner headlights are fine. The sensor on the front bumper which differentiates between types of impacts is not functioning. What this means is that upon an impact, all air bags will deploy, instead of selected ones. The car currently is using approximately 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles. The valve seals are apparently leaking. If the car is left idling for over two minutes, it will produce smoke upon taking off again. As soon as underway, the smoke stops. There are obvious signs of wear on the driver side leather seat. The driver side rubber floor mat shows wear as well as the rubber on the brake pedal. The car has never been involved in an accident. There are a couple of dings on the right side under the passenger mirror caused by an altercation with a leaning speed limit sign. The driver side seat heat is not working, passenger side works. Outside of a few parking lot dings, the paint looks good with the clear coat still good an shiny. It is my feeling that there are many more useable miles left on this car. As you can see, I have priced this car realistically under the market for 2004 4.4 X5's with navigation because of the mileage. I am located approximately 30 miles north east of Indianapolis, Indiana and will gladly deliver the car within a 150 mile radius of Indianapolis.
