Up for auction is a 2002 Millenium Yellow Corvette convertible with a manual transmission. This convertible Corvette is a beautiful car that has been well-maintained with no major accidents and a verifiable AutoCheck is report included with the auction. The motor runs strong and the six-speed manual transmission shifts smooth with strong, positive clutch action with no signs of slippage or excessive wear. The matching Michellin Sport A/S tires have at least 75% of their tread life left and the brake pads have plenty of life, with no hint of warping or fading of the rotors. The convertible top is in perfect condition (no rips, no tears, NO FADING!) and operates smoothly and properly. The convertible top is also fitted with a glass window with electronic defrost - NOT A PLASTIC SHEET. The interior of this car is in almost perfect condition - outside of very minor wear-and-tear, we found only one flaw, pictured below. We rate this interior a 9.0/10.0. The exterior is in excellent shape and the bright, vibrant Millenium Yellow paint turns heads everywhere this car goes. Aside from minor wear typical of vehicles of this age, the condition of the paint and body of this vehicle is nearly flawless. There are no signs of repaired or repainted body panels anywhere on this car. This convertible Corvette comes loaded with every option available for that model year, eqipped with the 1SC Preferred Equipment Group. This includes sport bucket seats with a six-way power passenger seat, digital dual-zone climate control, fog lamps, seat and mirror position memory package, auto-dimming mirrors, a race-inspired Heads Up Display (HUD, pictured below) and an electronic tilt/telescope steering wheel (links to picture of tilt/telescope column). This Corvette also comes equipped with the optional F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control option, allowing you to adjust the way your Corvette rides and handles from a comfortable Tour setting, a firmer Sport setting and an all-out, track-ready Performance setting. In addition to all of the included factory options, this car comes with a few, tasteful aftermarket modifications that *truly* enhance your driving experience. The most notable being a Borla exhaust system with chrome tips that both sounds great and frees up the engine to make a few extra horsepower. This exhaust is throaty, but does not drone or cause any discomfort in the cabin - it's nothing but musical enjoyment, playing to the tune of your right foot! This car also comes equipped with a short-throw shifter, vastly improving over the long and notchy stock shifter. The throws are crisp, clean and quick. With the top down, these two modifications truly transform this car from transportation into an experience - you won't have any more fun than you will shifting gears with the Borla system roaring behind you. Non-driving enhancements include color-matched inserts for the 'Corvette' logos on the dashboard and rear bumper, as well as an attractive, decoratve plate hung to cover the muffler mounts between the exhaust tips (chrome 'Exhaust Enhancer Plate'). This car also comes with a set of Lloyd floormats. These floormats are plush (and a HUGE improvement over the factory mats) and include GM-licensed logos and color-matched (yellow) stitching. The A/C blows ice-cold and the optional Bose 12-disc CD system sounds excellent and plays loud enough to hear with the top down and clear enough to do so without any distortion.
