2000 Ford Ranger XL with Trailhead Group option: In the Trailhead Group a torsion bar suspension gives the 4x2 the tough look of its 4x4 cousin. Ride height and ground clearance are different from that of conventional 4x2s. The Trailhead sits higher on bigger tires, clearly heightening appeal with Ranger buyers who want that 4x4 look, but don’t need the off-road capabilities. The Trailhead Group includes: torsion bar front suspension (similar to 4x4), AM/FM stereo with CD, styled manual mirrors, tachometer, 4x4 "Off-Road" front tow hooks, 4x4 "Off-Road" P245/75R 16SL OWL all-terrain tires, five-spoke cast aluminum 16-inch wheels, 4x4-style argent bumpers, and grille Fog Lamps. 3.0 V6 Flex fuel engine, gas or ethanol, 5 speed manual transmission, factory air conditioning, factory sliding rear window, factory premium 4 speaker AM/FM radio with single CD player and the other Trailhead Group optional equipment listed above. Never wrecked, one adult driver age 63, not smoked in. Runs/drives very good. Has cold factory air conditioning. I have always done the oil/filter changes on this Ranger, oil drained overnight, install a premium oil filter (Napa Gold filter recently) and always use full synthetic motor oil, usually Mobil 1. Had the brake fluid and power steering fluid professionally flushed last year. New engine coolant and spark plugs last year. Comes with the original Ford Ranger Owner's Guide, Scheduled Maintenance Guide, etc. in a nice Ford nylon zip case. Also included is a copy of the factory window sticker listing the equipment and options.
